• The Kuru Toga series from Uni Ball Mitsubishi features a core rotating mechanism that can automatically rotate the pencil lead when writing. The lead is rotated by a spring-loaded coupler, it works by continuously rotating each time you lift the pencil up (i.e. when printing words, etc.), this allows for even carrying of the pencil lead so that it always stays as a pointed tip. So you can easily avoid the usual problem of using pens:
• 1. At first, the pencil has a sharp point, but then as you continue to write, the tip will wear out, and your line widths are smudge and thicker. 2. Sometimes the tip of the angled tip may scratch or catch on the paper. 3. The leash is easy to break due to some positions of the tip and the angle of the tip.
• But with the Kuru Toga pencil, you don’t have to face the above problems. They effectively use only 50% of the lead area you previously used with your old mechanical pencil. So a 0.3/0.5mm Kuru Toga writes incredibly thin lines and has less breakage.
