Replaces Sony Multi Connector and RM-SPR1 Remote Control.
It is designed to function as a timer remote and an intervalometer.
Great for lapse photography such as flower blooming, sunset, moon-rise & long exposures.
Set timer delays/exposure time/intervals/number of shots (up to 399 shots or an unlimited number of photos).
An exposure as long as 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds can be programmed.
Helps prevent camera shaking and allows you to take self-portraits.
Can also be used as a simple shutter release cable: Press halfway to focus; press full to trigger shutter; when taking long exposure pictures, pushing the shutter button up will lock the camera shutter.
Humanized backlight design allows you to view the LCD screen in the dark.
The LOCK button prevents you from stopping a running unintentionally.
